List of top basestealers (December 9, 2003)
Just a rather simple list, and worthile to also compare to the list based on win advancements. Based on win advancements, a great basestealer will add about 0.5 wins per season (around 5 runs a season). The simple list says about 3 or 4. Probably the difference is the extra stuff like WP, PB, BK, etc. In any case, not much effect (these days anyway).

These numbers don't measure the value of stolen base activity; they're primarily measuring the active randomization inherent in optimal stolen base strategy.
