Thoughts from Diamond Mind - Expos (September 13, 2003)

Montreal has no problems supporting the CFL these days, though it did a decade ago, but had no problems before that. Montreal has alot to offer, and its residents know it. They won't put up with a second-class product. The Canadiens didn't sell out in their new (and horrible) arena. If a team spends money, its fans will spend money. And I'd guess that because of the type of city Montreal is, they probably have the biggest ratio of walkups to season tickets in the league.

Jonah Keri will be on BP chat Tuesday, and I'm guessing he has his own thoughts on Montreal.
